Our Team
Dr. Anna Algermissen is a New Mexico native who grew up on a horse farm in Albuquerque’s South Valley, where her passion for veterinary medicine began. She earned her undergrad from University of New Mexico and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis before returning home to practice in Albuquerque.
Dr. Algermissen is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care to pets and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys raising and competing her horses, practicing yoga, and hiking throughout New Mexico.

Holly Dietz
Dr. Holly Dietz is a fourth generation New Mexican, growing up in Albuquerque on a farm in the North valley. She attended New Mexico State University where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and continued on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Dr Dietz has a strong interest in small animal dentistry.
Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Dietz has run an equine boarding, training and breeding operation in the South Valley for the last 30 years.

With 15 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist, I’m passionate about creating a welcoming and compassionate experience for both pets and their owners. I love building connections with clients, supporting my team, and helping every visit feel comfortable and cared for.
At home, I’m a proud mom of two kids and two cats, and my love for animals and family shapes everything I do.

With more than 40 years of veterinary experience, Katy brings exceptional knowledge, compassion, and dedication to every patient. Her decades of hands-on experience, and commitment to high-quality care make her an invaluable part of the team.
Outside of work Katy enjoys spending time with her horses, and doing agility with her dogs.

Growing up in New Mexico, I knew from a very young age that my life would revolve around animals. Today, that childhood dream drives my daily work ethic.
I am an independent, self-motivated individual who genuinely enjoys tackling tough challenges. While I have a massive heart for all animals, I am happiest when working with horses and exploring the equine world.
